[NLRS] Looking for 1296 antenna

Hi Joe.
Try http://www.wa5vjb.com/yagi-pdf/cheapyagi.pdf, page 3.  (Note that the bottom line is offset to the left by one 
position... "Ref" shuold be "0" and "D8" should be "23.0")

A number of us have built these in the past and they work as advertized... just follow the directions.   (i.e, don't try 
to "improve" the design, or whatever.  I saw one at Centeral States a few years ago used a metal boom to "make it more 
robust."  Didn't work for (you know what).  The builder couldn't understand why because "I followed the directions." 
(Except the part about the wooden boom !)

If you're going to leave it outdoors, make sure you paint/varnish the boom... maybe even a couple of coats.  Solder the 
feed line onto the driven element and then paint/varnish the soldered connections.
