If you have an FT1000 Mark  V and want to get on 6 meters, I have what you 
need.  It's an FTV1000   50-54 MHZ transverter and it's compatible with your 
Mark V.  It puts out a  full 200 Watts on 6 meters using the 10 meter position 
(28-30 Mhz).  Check  out the reviews on E-Ham.  This is new in the box with the
