If you need a break from the big tropo opening this weekend, check out
the Wisconsin QSO party on Sunday afternoon. The contest starts at 1:00
pm local and runs until 8:00 pm on Sunday, March 9th. W0ZQ/m will be
out and about on 20m, 40m, and 80m CW with plans to operate in the
following counties and start times: Eau Claire (1800z), Trempealeau
(1850z), Buffalo (1945z), Pepin (2050z), Dunn (2205z), Pierce (2310z),
and St. Croix (0015z). At each stop I plan to start on 20m, then move
to 40m, then 80m. My best chance for working back into MN will be on
80m. Operating freqs will be 14050, 7050, and 3550 +/- traffic. I am
planning on having my TinyTraker along so look for me on APRS as W0ZQ-1
with the "rover" symbol. Not sure how APRS coverage will be in some of
these more remote areas of Wisc, so it will be an interesting
experiment.

73, Jon
W0ZQ/m
