Anyone have an interest in a 'like new' TEK 2445 scope [150 MHz band width,
measurements displayed on screen, etc.]?
I purchased this scope approximately one year ago. Very shortly after that
purchase I managed to find and buy an upscale Tek 2465A DM which had been
lab calibrated and had an official calibration sticker [which I wanted].
Since that time the 2465 has been the one I have used exclusively. At the
time I received the 2645 I compared the two scopes on a number of test
signals and found no differences between measurements made with either
scope. That only means the 2445 'seems' to be as accurate as the lab
certified 2465, but I do not wish to represent the 2445 as calibrated to
laboratory standards.
The scope package includes all of the standard accessories except the two
probes. It does include paper copies of the Service Manual and the Operators
manual. The scope has the TV option, which I believe is Option 05. I have
never used it to look at TV signals so cannot declare anything but that it
is built into the scope and the FLD-1 and FLD-2 positions are on the
triggering display on the front panel. The graticules used for looking at TV
signals are part of the package even though they are not standard
accessories.
For those who may wish to read about this unit I do have the Service Manual
as a PDF file but it is 27 MB in size. I can, however, extract the
specifications for the unit and send those as a separate PDF if anyone
wishes a copy.
I am driving from Idaho [where this scope is] to Minnesota between now and
the Fourth of July and could handle the 'shipping' to the Minneapolis-St.
Paul area if there is someone interested.
Pictures can be sent upon request.
