[NLRS] Why I LOVE 902 MHz

Of all the contacts I made for the VHF contest this weekend, my single
902 contact with N0AKC in EN44 was the most fun! I was running about
8.5 Watts to an 8 element commercial Yagi at about 6 feet. Now, I
realize it's only about 15 miles between us, but there is a monster hill
(approx 200-300 feet higher than my yard) between us that is about 3/4
mile from me. I was shooting right through the hill. I wish I could
say I had enough power to burn through it, but I suspect it was really
difracting over the top. Nonetheless, it was a real thrill to hear
Charlie's 25W or so at S9 and he had no trouble copying me either! :)
