[NLRS] Why I LOVE 902 MHz

Of all the contacts I made for the VHF contest this weekend, my single 
902 contact with N0AKC in EN44 was the most fun!  I was running about 
8.5 Watts to an 8 element commercial Yagi at about 6 feet.  Now, I 
realize it's only about 15 miles between us, but there is a monster hill 
(approx 200-300 feet higher than my yard) between us that is about 3/4 
mile from me.  I was shooting right through the hill.  I wish I could 
say I had enough power to burn through it, but I suspect it was really 
difracting over the top.  Nonetheless, it was a real thrill to hear 
Charlie's 25W or so at S9 and he had no trouble copying me either!  :)
