Thanks Bill and Jim for the updates. I suspect cx's are enhanced to the W of
NLRS-land tonight.
I've been hearing spurts of KA0PQW and now at 9:20, I clearly
understand that Matt has a broken rotor issue. Even tho he's
pointing W thru NW, I am hearing him off the back, Q4 or 5.
Sorry to hear Matt's having issues, they bite. :)
I'm not so much worried about checking in. My concern is more
about increasing intra-club awareness. I belong to NLRS, to
the CVVHF (EN34 Eau Claire stations), the BC'ers (my obvious
home territory and the SMC'ers (Society of Midwest Contesters)
out of Illinois. All these clubs are great, but when I'm
contesting, my objective is to work all stations in all
directions. Those are the stations that are in MY club.
To get the most out of contesting, everyone needs to look
in all directions. You'd be surprised what's out there if
you look hard and often for it. :) :)
At the risk of sounding soapboxy, I will say 73 to all,
Todd KC9BQA EN63ao 40 N of Milwaukee 50 thru 2304
