Hello NLRS land.
To dovetail with Bruce's posting, please think about attending Central
States in Wichita July 25-26. Wichita is about 10 hrs away, so its a one day
drive. In addition to the technical part of the conference as outlined below,
there is a tremendous family program (if you decide to take the family along),
the flea market is always a good time (last year I found a TR751 for $50 ....
my "best deal" to date), and on Saturday night the banquet speaker is Sam
Jewel, G4DDK. If you don't know who Sam is, do a Google! . And who knows,
you may get "lucky" at the prize table following the banquet. The social
hours in the hospitality suite is always a good time with lots of eye-ball QSOs
amongst fellow VHFers and in addition to enjoying a cold 807 I always learn
something from this group. Hope to see you in Wichita.

This information has been added to conference pages (agenda updated to note
the Saturday luncheon, details updated with speaker list, lodging updated
with "good luck" message)
Best regards,
