If you drive around the north suburbs of the Twin Cities with any frequency you would know that the Ramsey County Sheriff used to have a 200ft red/white monopole near 694 and Rice Street.

I say used to, because just yesterday morning I noticed it was GONE!

About a week to ten days ago I saw workmen on a extremely tall cherry picker working on a few of the lower verticals.
Apparently they were taking them down.

Two questions.  How *DO* you take down a 200ft monopole?  How many Hams tried to buy it? (hi hi)
