  Hi Guys (10:30am)

     Not sure what to do regarding AU08. Our plans are complicated by the fact that we have our daughters dog for the next 9 days, so her
dog will be traveling with us, if we travel. One plan might be to head down this afternoon before things get too bad. If we consider that, we will need to find a motel that will allow the doggie. Of course the return tomorrow night could be VERY unpleasant given the forecast. 

  Monitoring the weather and hoping for a good outcome...

Snow accumulation of 8 to 14 inches is expected this afternoon
through tonight across  Itasca... county. A light rain and snow mix is possible this
morning... then look for the precipitation to intensify and become
all snow this afternoon. The snow will be heaviest tonight... and
may linger into Saturday morning.

A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow... 
sleet... and ice are expected or occurring. Strong winds are also
possible. This will make travel very hazardous or impossible.
