  Hot off the press is the latest Softrock (low cost SDR) status.. the long 
awaited 10m Rx/Tx version will soon be a reality!! See the following ....

Good Evening All,

All first round RXTXv6.2 kits are now sold. Please hold on sending
through additional orders for the RXTXv6.2 kits.

A second round of RXTXv6.2 kits is scheduled to start by October 22.
Kit prices will be the same as on the first round of the v6.2 kits.
Kits available at that time will include a 160m kit ($30), an 80m kit
($30), a 40m/80m kit ($30), a 40m/30m kit ($30), and a 20m/30m kit
with the daughter board kit ($36). The prices include mailing cost
for US/Canada and I need to ask for an additional $1 on DX orders to
help cover the additional mailing expense to DX locations. Typically
each kit will be supplied with two crystals and extra crystals will
be an additional $1 per crystal. (The 160m and 80m kits come with
three crystals without additional cost to the kit buyer.)

Hopefully, by late October a 15m/17m RXTXv6.2 kit with daughter board
kit and a 10m/12m RXTXv6.2 kit with daughter board kit will be added
to the list of available kits. (The next few weeks should give me a
chance to finish work on first examples of the new versions and get
them in the hands of the prototype testers.)

Again, please hold on RXTXv6.2 kit orders until it is posted that
kits are available.
