Well, as was absolutely expected, our local scores were drastically lower
than we've seen in the past few years. This was most largely due to
fairly poor conditions due to the unseasonable weather that we experienced
in the region during both weekends.
Without double checking all data entry from the raw logs, John, W0JT's
excellent 10GHz contest worksheet came up with the following stats.
Total QSOs: 61
Best DX: 446km - a new contest best for me.
Unique calls: 26
Distance pts: 14985
Total score: 17585
Note for those using John's worksheet updated last month, I noticed a
problem after entering both my and Holly's logs that it inadvertently
incremented the unique station count by 1, so just check that prior to
submitting your log.
I'd like to personally thank Bruce, W9FZ, for taking a very strong lead in
planning the overall route for both weekends this year. It made for a
very enjoyable time with some excellent scenery and great camerarderie
which more than made up for the poor band conditions and corresponding
lower scores.
