After pausing for the summer, we are about to resume our 2 meter CW
practice net. The date and time is tentative and may change, but for
the moment we are looking at 8:00 PM Central on Thursday nights.

We will meet on USB at 144.26 and check everyone in by voice, then
switch over to CW and operate as a roundtable for about an hour. At the
closing, we will switch back to USB, answer any questions (usually
someone will have questions about what was sent), and close the net.

Hams of all code speeds are welcome. We operated this net informally
through most of last winter with four operators ranging from about 11
wpm to 20 wpm, with good success. 2 meters is a great place to practice
CW because, as NLRSers know, there is almost no QRN, QRM, or QSB.
Armchair copy is a great aid to anyone trying to improve his code speed.

See you there!

73,
Cathy N5WVR
