Jon,

Not sure what you mean by "APRS Interface Solution" but if you are
looking for the 'piece' to which you can connect a GPS unit (with
appropriate interface, typically 'serial'/RS-232...NOT USB) and it
will generate the audio modem tones containing (one of) the APRS
defined formats for the beaconing protocol(?) that can then be fed
into the transmit audio of an FM Transceiver; the two most popular
seem to be TinyTrak by Byon Garrabrant (N6BG)/Byonics at
http://www.byonics.com/tinytrak/ or OpenTracker by Scott
Miller(N1VG)/Argent Data Systems at
http://n1vg.net/opentracker/index.php.

There's ALSO a unit called "FreeTrak"
http://www.ringolake.com/pic_proj/gps_trak/freetrak202.html by a Mike
Berg, N0QBH, who lives a little bit west of the Twin Cities.

73, JK
