I found that .225 was a common QSY frequency, but it wasn't nearly as bad as
trying to use .220 where I found several different people (not rovers) who
claimed that frequency as their own when I was off on other bands.

Lacking a real home station, my option is roving. I'll plan to use the next
spot up, 144.235.
With June frequently turning into the "6m contest" where few stations care
about rovers, I'm trying to decide how much I'm going to bet on 6m being open.
If I was going to bet on 6m, I would rove to a small number of grids, carrying
only 2 or 3 bands and working mostly 6m.
I'd like to work from some new grids, in part for the 'experience' and to
collect grids for the VUCC/r program, so I'm considering trying a new grid
corner on Saturday, and an old one on Sunday. My current considrations are:
- EN14/EN15/EN24/EN25 corner between Madison, MN and Montevideo, MN.
St. Charles corner Sunday
- EN32/EN33/EN42/EN43 corner near West Union, IA.
Winsted corner Sunday
- EN32/EN33 near I35 (did that last September, conditions stunk)
Winsted corner Sunday
I think both ideas put me in proximity of other rovers one day or the other.
Glen
