I will be there somewhere very close to 7:30 am and will bring
1. A NLRS check for the table ($$)
2. Our club banner and some rope
3. A NLRS sign-in sheet.
4. My FT897 with the top & bottom off for show & tell. (222 xvter
installed)
5. A CD for Ron (reminder for me).
6. A few of my spare QSTs that have the 10gig contest article (ARRL
sent me a few extra).
7. I will throw in the car a small end mount 222 or 432 yagi. Maybe we
can mount it to the backstop area right behind the club table for
ambiance. Or maybe a small end mount looper (or both). It gets us
noticed and it gets people taking.
73, Jon
W0ZQ.

Last Call and reminder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jon, I plan to be there at 7:30
Everyone please bring your goodies for show and tell. Refer to Jon's
specifics regarding dishes. Whoever had those trifold pamphlets about
NLRS
from last year please bring them again. If Paul Husby could bring some
Aurora 2007 handouts to encourage new blood that would be nice.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!! VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!!
Saturday March 24, 2006 7:30AM - 1:00PM

Here we go again! We again this year have a Club table for Midwinter
Madness. Midwinter Madness is coming up very soon!!! You can find
information for the hamfest at http://www.k0ltc.org/
The club as a group has shown by Jon's survey last year, decided that
it was
important for us to be visible and put on a show. It is important to
have
lots of stuff to show and lots members at the table to show stuff and
talk
up the upper bands and Aurora 2007. This is what makes a club look
interesting and involved and gets newcomers excited. Please carefully
consider helping out. There are still many people leading sheltered
lives
thinking that there is no activity in the upper bands.
I am doing the scheduling thing the same Lucy-Goosey way as we did last
year
as we always seem to have a number of members show up. I will need two
people to help with set up and two to help with tear down. Other than
that
I would ask that members make it a point to show up at the hamfest and
help
at the table as they are able. 1/2, 1, 2hours or the entire morning if
you
want. This is going to be a come and go as you please format. Remember,
this is your club and it is what you make of it. Please let me know what
areas list below that you can help in.
Opening (2 people)
Hamfest period (as many as can make it)
Closing (2 people)
