Aloha all.
We are planning a balloon launch this Friday, June 22, at 10:30am from
our Little Yellowstone launch site (N 46d 37.889' W 097d 56.782'). It
will be a test run of our lighter payload and a new flight camera. We
will not be flying the simplex repeater on this one.
Primary beacon will be 145.700 MHz APRS, KC0NSR-11
Secondary beacon will be 144.390 MHz APRS, KC0NSR-2, gated to the internet.

We will be using a 1200gram balloon. I'd estimate that it will only
reach 80,000 feet or so, but out last two balloons of this size hit 95k
and 97k. We will be adding extra helium to get it up and down faster
than normal.
Right now the weather looks iffy. I estimate a 50-50 chance of actually
launching. If they get any more rain down there in the next day or so,
we will most likely scrub the launch (most of the fields are already wet
and muddy the way it is).
I'll send out a final GO/NO GO tomorrow morning.
