one last try to post:

N9TTX/R June VHF plans

Here is the timetable. Hopefully I can keep to the
schedule. I will be starting up near the
EN48/48/37/38 grid corner near Ely. Unfortunately for
the rare grid squared, it is going to be 45 minutes
tops each for the first three squares due to where I
need to end up at in the wee morning hours for a nap.
As noted, I may take one of two routes near midnight
depending on time and tiredness (Gas too). I doubt if
I will go the extra 2 hour round trip and get to EN67,
but I may just may get to EN57. I will be taking a
short nap at my parents house in Rhinelander EN55, and
then head out West after rested and a shower. I may
scoot the timeline an hour later on Sunday depending
on start time. I do have a bunch of time allotted for
EN44 at the end of the contest. I hope to, as Bruce
W9FZ said, “Run and Gun” the contest. I have noted
where I hope to sit for a bit and rotor around. I
will stop and run the 5 bands if I can find space
while on the road if there is a large crowd at any
certain time. The general game plan is as follows:

On the move Stationary/Liaison
50.135/.125 50.185
144.205/.200 144.185
146.550 FM 222.085
					432.085
					1296.085/.100

Band modes power Antenna
50 SSB/CW/FM 150W Looper/2 El
144 SSB/CW/FM 150W 7- 8 element
222 SSB/CW/FM 30W 10 element
432 SSB/CW/FM 100W 2/3 of a 25 El K1FO
1296 SSB/CW/FM 18W M2 35EZ

The antennas will be on a rotor so I can spin easy. I
will try and work one direction 1st, then spin and run
in another. When I am on the road, I will have the
rotor locked, so any Q’s on the fly on bands other
than 6 and 2 meters, will be done on the liaison freqs
and if I am pointed in your direction. Please
understand this. I will alternately check the call
freqs and run on the .135/.205 freqs. Once I get to a
(Sit) I will announce on calling freq, and when
ativity happens I will move to the liaison freq.
Please check liaison often. I will make every humanly
possible attempt to make the Q’s and will pull off to
point and shoot if there is space. I will use scenic
overlooks to an advantage. The spots I noted as sits
are definite. I do hope to give a lot of you a new
grid or more this weekend. I won’t have digital in
the car, but I will have CW capability on all bands.
The mast on the car is not extendable at this time, so
it is going to be way under 13’6” to be legal, and
probably very strange for pattern. Hope to catch you
all. By the time you read this, I will not be able to
respond to ideas or such, I will be either sleeping or
travelling to the Northern reaches to start. Good
Luck.
