Hey everyone,
I'm volunteering with the MS-150 bike tour this weekend, and as such
will be making runs to Moose Lake and North Branch this weekend. I
figure I may as well hand out a few QSOs during my drive there and
back.
I should be leaving Moose Lake (EN36) en route to South Saint Paul
(EN34), along I-35, sometime around 1PM on Saturday. I'll be driving
to North Branch (EN35) along I-35 starting around 6AM on Sunday, and
beginning my return to South Saint Paul around 2PM.
I won't have much in the way of capabilities, FM only from my mobile,
unless one of you can talk me into trying USB on a mobile whip. I'll
try to give a call on 146.460 (or should I use 146.550 instead?) and
446.000 while en-route.
If I'm having a lot of fun I may drag out the 222 USB/FM gear while
I'm at home those days.
Oh, and please be aware that the MS-150 nets are planning to use 146.580
and 147.510 pretty extensively over the course of the weekend. You may
want to stay clear of those simplex frequencies.
