We're ready to roll.  Turn up the gain and lean in toward the radio at 1800Z.  Pat and I will be way down near Homer (DOH!) Illinois at the EM69/59EN50/60 corner. This is a bit south and east of Champaign Urbana.  We have a favorite spot down there at the edge of a corn field/ We work into MI, IN, OH and adjacent grids.  I'll bet we can work into Wisconsin too!

>From this spot we'll go back north and take a chance on Chebanse for EN50/60/51/61.  We have a pipeline into WI from here and have worked diligent Minnesotans and K2YAZ way up in EN74  several times.  Look for us around 3:00 CDT at this corner.

After leaving here we'll continue north to do our Mt. Trashmore thing in EN51 at Greene Valley in EN51.  We'll be there around 5:00 CDT.  This great spot closes at 6:00 PM so we'll be on to EN62.  We might go to Willow Hill GC in Glenview which has a must better shot to the east than Nicholl Knoll, but given time constraints, we may have to pick one or the other.  Sunday we're celebrating Mom's birthday so we won't be out and about.  Let's hope for big time Es and Tropo!

We run about 300 watts on 2 to 7 elements and 100 watts on 6 to a KB6KQ loop on top of the mast.

Our run frequency will be 50.170 and 144.170 except when we want to make a contact.  Then we'll go to the calling frequency with everybody else.  See you tomorrow!
