[NLRS] Did the NLRS USB net meet on 144.25 last night?

Actually the cross polarized loss can be even greater accompanied by a
high radiation angle from the feed line radiation inherent in the j-pole
design. Lean it a little to create a horizontal component.

That being said, any antenna is better than not turning the rig on. In
past contests I've worked 200 miles to good stations on 2m with my
discone at 55 feet using CW. There's a chance the beams above it are
being shock excited. I can't check that right now, the rotor and cables
are broken.
