Good Afternoon fellow VHF enthusiasts...
Better late than never...I won't bore you with why.
Key message is that I will likely NOT be on right at the start, 1pm
CST/1900 UTC today, but WILL be on, *hopefully* by 2pm CST/2000 UTC.
Bands: 50 MHz (calling frequency, 50.125, or 50.180 SSB); 144 MHz
(calling frequency, 144.200, or 144.180 for SSB, will also be checking
146.55 for FM as well as other FM Simplex frequencies...146.52
definitely NOT allowed in THIS contest); 222 MHz (calling frequency,
222.100, and 222.080 for SSB, will also be checking 223.5 for FM); 432
MHz (calling frequency, 432.100, or 432.080 for SSB/CW, will also be
checking 446.0 for FM) and 1296 MHz, "just" the calling frequency,
1296.100, for SSB/CW...will move up or down from the calling freq. as
necessary).
I won't be driving very far, just covering EN51, EN52, EN61 and EN62,
through this afternoon and into the evening. Activity by me tomorrow
is looking less likely and it would just be a "re-visit" to those same
grids.
Hope that a bunch of you will be within my radio range!
73, JK
