  Since I was not at the breakfast, I'm not sure of the nature of the "Big 
Wheel" interest. IF the interested party was wanting to build a 2m mobile 
loop, I would sure recommend the mobile antenna that I built. It is built 
from copper water pipe and fittings ... it has worked GREAT for me.

 The version I used is a bit different, it uses a pair of flat head brass 
screws in the "loop gap" for tuning. GREAT SWR control!!

 If the interest was to build a good 2m mobile antenna, I can provide the 
dimension data, it was built from a different article from the web that I 
have not been able to find as I write this. I will continue to look.
