[NLRS] NLRS club stuff

Hello NLRS land.   Some coming events  to be aware of as we kick off 2007 !

1.   The ARRL January VHF  contest is the weekend of January 20 - 22.   What 
are everyone's plans  this year ?    W0ZQ will be home operating in the SOHP 
class on  6m through 3456.   If the weather is nice, I may head out on Sunday  
with some of the microwave bands just to see if I can break the all time 
lowest  rover score every recorded (minus 45 pts in the Jan'05 contest).    Anyone 
plan on being active ?

2.   The schedule for the 2007  NLRS breakfasts are listed on our website at 
http://www.nlrs.org/#Breakfasts  .  Our next breakfast is January 13 in 
Richfield.

3.   The  Minnesota QSO Party is Saturday, Feb 3.   You can find all the  
information on this really fun event at http://w0aa.org/mnqp.htm  .    This year 
there are new awards for stations with the most  number of SSB contacts, so we 
have a big push on this year for SSB activity and  to get all stations on.   
Please mark your calendar, check out the  referenced website, and give strong 
consideration to getting on HF, VHF, or  both, and showing the World what 
Minnesota is all about.    If  you have any questions about anything, you can ask 
me.   W0ZQ will  once again be operating HF mobile.  How about you ?
