Good Morning all,
I can confirm that the Accessory Jack for teh TE Systems IS a 7-pin
miniature tube socket as were common in the days that radios "glowed".
The mating plugs have always been hard to find (even hardER these
days) and often NOT included when an amp is sold since they get lost
or have been bundled in to custom made cables by the seller/previous
owner. And, they are NOT very "robust" as Chris noted.
I actually spoke with Dave (TE Systems' principal) at Dayton a few
years ago (we ended up at the same table at the Friday Night Weak
Signal Dinner). I suggested a change to mini-DIN for the accessory
jack (specifically 8-pin, since cables with nicely molded plug
assemblies were readily available in that configuration) and that
PowerPole type connectors would be a nice replacement for
"Cinch-Jones" power connectors.
The "official" Cinch-Jones 'number' for the Power Connector is
"S304CCT" for the female 4-pin connector with cover and strain relief.
I've also seen it referred to as "JCJ4F". That may give you some terms
to Google (or insert YOUR preferred web search engine here).
Unfortunately, I don't have any 'numbers' to try for the 7-pin
miniature plug.
73, JK
