[NLRS] Call for nominations: 2007 NLRS Wesslund Award Updated.

Hello NLRS Land.   

Nominations are now open for this  years recipient of the NLRS Wesslund 
Award.  Nominations must be made in  written form (email, snail mail, direct copy, 
etc) and sent to one of the NLRS  club officers (W0ZQ, N0UK, KC0IYT).   The 
award committee, comprised  of the three club officers, W0AUS, and membership 
representation, shall review  all written nominations and make the final 
selection.  The award shall be  presented at Aurora'07 during the afternoon business 
meeting.

The  Wesslund Award states: "The Wesslund Award honors Robert (Bob) Wesslund, 
W0AUS,  for his many years of significant contributions to the Northern 
Lights Radio  Society and for his continuous work with mentoring others in the 
World above 50  MHz.  This award is presented annually to recognize those NLRS 
members who  have assisted others in gaining knowledge and access to the bands 
above 50  MHz."

Written nominations should be short but should exemplify those  attributes 
outlined above.   This award was created and presented to  Bob, W0AUS, in 2004.  
 The 2005 winner was Donn Baker, WA2VOI while  Jon Lieberg, K0FQA, won the 
award in 2006.
