Good hobby shops will have taps down to 0 and maybe some small metric
taps. These are not production taps, but work a few times. Good hardware
stores will have taps down to 4 probably. Machine tool supply companies
should have taps down to 0. McMaster-Carr (www.mcmaster.com) has several
styles on hand. In Ames, Hockel Supply usually has a good assortment of
taps. They sell nuts and bolts mostly. I don't remember what the local
Lowe's has for taps. Haven't been shopping there for taps lately. My tap
drawer has nearly every useful size already.
Small Parts in Florida will have small taps too.
