[NLRS] Preliminary Perseids report DE KA0RYT/P (EN35CT -Grandma's farm )

Hello !! Just a reminder to all that the annual
Perseids meteor shower peaks this weekend . I have
been up at Grandma's farm (EN35CT ) for several days
and am already seeing the meteor shower visually . I
have been seeing several in 15 minute time frames (
ZHR is> 10 ) .... The light polution up there in the
sticks is very low ( as well as being a very quiet RF
location ), I am able to observe the considerably
smaller meteor trails too.  I am currently loading up
the FT-897D , rotor controller, etc and will be active
on 144 mhz up untill Sunday evening from up there . I
still am currently QRP on 144 ( My GS35 1.5kw amp for
144 is now at final completion stages for the
September contest , including LNA's that are running a
0.4db noisefigures connected thru the T/R relay setup.
)  I hope to bump into a few of you folks on 144 as
well as probably 6 meters from up there this
