Yo, NLRS land.

W0ZQ/R is ready. I had one set back .... I believe that I may have mixed my
222 input/outputs on the 222 brick and fried the 222 transverter power
module - no output on 222. After a bit of troubleshooting, I just so happened to
have a "spare" module (thanks Tony !), replaced it, and I am back in
business again. I did a band check with GHZ from 222 thru 3456 from my driveway
and all was good.

I will be in the EN44/43/33/34 grid corner on Saturday afternoon in that
order. I will be in each grid for about 1.5 hrs. I plan to leave from there
about dark and sleep at home. I will be in the EN35/25/24 and perhaps 34
(again) on Sunday in that order with EN35 starting at about 6:30 to 7:00 am,
again each grid for about 1.5 hrs. Since 5.7 and 10gig are outside the car,
serious weather will hamper those bands. I will be hanging out on 222.065 and
432.065, always to return there, and will be tuning around too.

The current weather forecast has quite a bit of uncertainly. As of this
afternoon the NWS has most of southern MN and northern IA in a slight risk
category. Models are trying to generate a MCS in the eastern Dakotas tonight,
then again tomorrow afternoon in southern MN. It does look like a better than
50/50 chance that rovers could see some rain at some time - some may not see
any, some may see a lot. At this time, there is a small potential for
tornados on Sat. southwest of the MN river into northern IA. This forecast may be
good for the microwave crowed as long as the rain/hail/wind isn't over the
top of the rovers.

Drive safe rovers. Have fun everyone !

73, Jon
W0ZQ/R
