  Hello fellow V/UHF'ers,

It's 80 degrees here at nearly 4 in the afternoon, 40 miles
north of Milwaukee. I look at a regional weather map though
and I see things like Eau Claire 66, Wausau 55 and Duluth 51!
Even the asphalt jungle of the Cities is down to 62 -- who'd
have ever thought it would go below 80? (Thinking back to
CSVHFS)

So I guess we're going to have to bundle up a little for this
weekend's contest -- me included out in the shed. It'll be a
nice change of pace and still far better than January, hi.

It's nice to see so many plans being posted. I'm glad I keep
up with BC, CVVHF and NLRS. (In addition to the Society of
Midwestern Contesters -- SMC -- out of Illinois) If I didn't
have all this info, I'm sure I'd miss some key rover or fixed
station plans. I'm still hoping to find a Iowa, Michigan and
Indiana resource someday, but so far no dice...

I will be contesting from the get-go tomorrow. Now have
50 thru 2304. 2304 played pretty well in the Aug UHF, but
the conditions seemed above average too. Whatever the case,
I should be ready at 1pm.

Sunday is the start of the NFL season... some guys hunt or fish,
my wife and I football. So we'll see about Sunday -- probably
be done before noon.

Everyone get on for a while and make some Q's.

  Good luck and 73,
  Todd KC9BQA EN63ao 50 thru 2304
