For those familiar with this interesting 10m  contest, this year they have 
added 6m making it of interest to NLRS  land.    Read the forward below.

The Twin City FM Club is proud to  announce the 2006 Groundwave  contest! 
It will be held on Saturday  November 11th  from noon to 6pm local time. 
New this year we have added  6 meters to our  10 meter contest ! 
This means Techs can finally get  involved! We will be on 10m from 28.300  to 
28.400 ,and on 6m from  50.125 to 50.200  SSB and CW. 
And we will have a nice Plaque for the  winner in each of three categories  ; 
 
1.Rover/Mobile    , 2. fixed/portable and  3. 6 meter only! 
You can get bonus points for  things like working the club station WØEF  
,running a single element  antenna ,using qrp.
