[NLRS] SBMS 2.3 GHz & Up Contest Results

Dave, N0KP, has indicated that the SBMS 2.3 GHz  & Up contest results are now 
on their website at  
http://www.ham-radio.com/sbms/club_test/2ghz_test_results.06.html   .   The NLRS took third place out of four clubs listed with 13 
logs  submitted.   You all may remember that this contest occurred during  the 
same weekend as Au'06 and that the weather was absolutely  wretched.   I 
remember working N0UK on 10 gigs with over 3 KHz of  Doppler because the wind and 
rain was so strong .... so much Doppler that I  could not use my RIT but had to 
go to split VFOs .... all the while keeping one  foot on the tripod and trying 
to keep the rain out of the IF  rig.    One of these days this contest is not 
going to fall on  our Aurora gathering and the weather will be "nice".
