Either antenna will work very very well for you Mike. I prefer the K1FO
designs (DSFO222-10RS), but be aware that some construction will be needed.
Take a look at their downloadable manual .... the elements need to be slid
into place on the boom and the driven element with its T-match needs to be
constructed and soldered together. I have done several of these and its
no big deal, but just to make you aware that the antenna does not come
"ready to use" ..... some construction is required. In comparison, I
don't know how much work is required to get the M^2 antenna operational.
As the feed is different, I suspect (but don't know) that it may be nearly
ready to go ..... anyone else comment on M^2 and the work that is required
to get them operational out-of-the-box ? In either case, I'm looking
forward to working you on 222 from eight grids this June contest Mike !
If you don't get the antenna in time, you can borrow my end mount three
element. 222 is THE best VHF band.
