As club president, from time to time I get some information sent my way that
is worthy of broadcast to the club. This is one such item.

The Foundation for Amateur Radio has administered a scholarship program for
many years. The Quarter Century Wireless Association sponsors 16 of the
approximately 25 scholarships available. Five of these scholarships require the
student to be a licensed amateur radio operator and five require the student
be in an engineering or physical science filed. These scholarships are for
$1,000 or greater. Applications must be submitted before June 1, 2006. The
application kit consisting of information, details on the scholarships,
regulations and the application itself may be obtained by contacting Jim
Stodolka, W0TIV, at 651-699-2494 or by mail at 2036 Bayard Avenue, St. Paul, MN
55116-1204.
