Hello Contesters Just walked in from working 12 days straight and a 24 / 7 pager duty. My take on the June contest, Well did not expect to be what its was. I was treating it just another slow contest with my family duties like taxi cab service running the kids to there jobs and visiting open houses for those future kids that will be running this country. I hope. Okay back to the contest. That was one nice opening on 6 and 2, between the family things and supporting the rovers. I operated around 23 hours and during the peak of the contest I was play taxi, but I was in on the 2 meter opening all the way and for this to happen again in my life time is high. So in the end we will see allot of high numbers and this brought out allot of HFr's to 6 meter and think that this thing happens all the time. " I Wish " that's why its called the Magic Band. See every one at Central States and talk smart on this subject. 73's Dave NØKP
