Had a fun hour at Burnsville until the lightening chased me off the hill.
Worked KM0T on 5.7 and 10 GHz rainscatter, about 186 miles. Signals on 5.7
were HUGE, S9 + a ton. We tried on 24 GHz on several different paths but
nothing heard. I also worked W0GHZ and W9FZ, "locals" on 10 GHz rainscatter.
I worked W0GHZ on 5.7 with both of us pointed west towards the big black
cloud, again with huge signals. 5.7 is an excellent RS band ! I then
heard WA0SSN with K0AWU. I worked K0AWU with good signals, about 165 miles,
then I elevated my dish a few degrees and he went to S9. I heard WA0SSN but
was unable to work him before I had to leave because of the lightening.
