Worked Barry for 1 hour with interesting changes in signal from the various cells.
Some were solid and good for SSB others were very broad but also very strong S9+ and this was all back scatter. Forward scatter was solid and S 9 and was pretty much as expected. I could swing the antenna from west of south to east of south east and could copy all the time with varying signal strength and degree of Doppler on back scatter path. The round trip mileage was at least 250 to 300 miles.
Will drag the 10 GHz gear along to the FD site EN18av just in case RS shows up and cell phone will be for skeds.
