[NLRS] DUPE SHEET

The *KEY* as I see it, is that requirement to generate and submit a dupe
sheet applies ONLY to PAPER entries. If you send a Cabrillo file, it is OK
to leave DUPES in and "most" logging programs will generate Cabrillo (just
keep in iind that if you are "claiming" a score with dupes in, it will
definitely end up being reduced but I understand there is no penalty for
dupes...busted calls, errors in transcribing calls/grid squares, however, a
different story). I've learned/perfected some tricks to generate Cabrillo
"formatted" log by getting my QSOs entered into an Excel Spreadsheet
(withOUT a logging program) and would be happy to *try* and share this with
anyone interested.

There is ALSO the web-based applet at: http://www.b4h.net/cabforms/ which, I
believe, will take a log in *almost any* "delimited" form of a log after
prompting for some info that it needs to generate the "header" part of the
log and will create a Cabrillo formatted entry...it can even handle Rovers
(and weren't there a LOT of them out there this weekend!). Check that out as
another way to avoid having to create a dupe sheet.
