LODGING ALERT!!!!  Our great contracted rate of $85/nt (+tax) is
only available through July 5th.  After that, the prices rise to
as high as $139/nt.  If you are coming to the event, take the time
to make your Lodging Reservation by July 5th!!!

By now, you surely know all about the Central States VHF Society
Conference on July 28th and 29th, 2006 in Bloomington, MN.  This
40th anniversary event will be a homecoming for many VHF'ers
active in the 60's and 70's as well as today.

Did you know that our Dealer Area features Down East Microwave,
Hanger 18 Surplus, and Directive Systems?  We expect Flex-Radio
Systems to also have a display.  How about catching the Friday
evening flea-market full of things of interest to a VHF'er?  And

Early arrivals on the 27th can take part in the Surplus Tour and
visit the Pavek Museum of Broadcasting.

Most attendees will arrive on Thursday the 27th and take advantage
of the evening Padelford Boat Dinner Cruise on the Mississippi and
time in the Hospitality Suite.  Most attendees will also stay
through the Banquet and legendary Prize Table on Saturday night to
depart on Sunday, July 30th.  But if you live in the area, make
sure you come out on the morning of the 28th (Friday) to catch the
Antenna Range, Rover Row, Dish Bowl, and Dealer Area before the
presentations begin at 1pm.  Saturday (29th) will have interesting
presentations all day culminating in the Banquet.

Our Family Program will keep your family members happy and
entertained.  Friday will be spent at the Mall of America--right
across the parking lot.  Friday night has a Scrap Booking
workshop.  Saturday consists of a Trolley Tour of St Paul in the
morning and a tour of Historic Fort Snelling in the afternoon.
