That scoring change does seem odd, Dave. All of my my 29 Q's and 204 points were counted. Now I just need 51,000 more points in the next contest to compete with you and N0VZJ.
It would probably be easier to enter as QRP portable, where my score would be much more competitive. I've already got the FT817 and handheld Yagi. Just need to find a nice big hill to walk up.
The strange thing is that in the ARRL writeup, they say that "N0VZJ just missed setting a Division record with his 9th place finish." Later they say, "N0VZJ's SOLP Division-record score propelled him to a top 10 National result, with N0KP, N0LL, W6ZI and W0JT right behind." Is it a division record? Something must have changed while they were checking the scores.
Anyway, congratulations to Vince on his top ten finish, and to N0KP, W0GHZ, K0AWU and W0JT for strong showings as well.
73,
Mark W0LM (ex-KI0DI)
