That could be a little quicker without the redundant file opens.  Even so, 
the original is fast.

BTW - I have created a robot mail system to convert the Cabrillo files.

If you send your Cabrillo format log to cabrillo_converter at chris.org, it 
will return the converted file to you automatically.

The longest log processed so far has taken just under a second to process.
