Hi Kris, nice to work you in the contest. Here are my two bits worth.

I run separate feedlines for all bands, 6m through 3456. It simply grew
this way ; no planning.

I suggest that you do a cost/benefit analysis .... perhaps modeling that
you add a few bands down the road like 902 and 2304. My point is that
there are lots of variables involved in this decision such as the length of
the feedline that you need, cost, bands, ability to work more than one band
simultaously, and acceptable feedline loss. For example, I firmly
believe that LMR400 is really good stuff on 6, 2, 222 and even 432
depending on how long your runs are. I could see someone running a very
effective station with LMR400 on 432 and down and hardline on 902 and up.
Also you should consider the availability of CATV hardline.
Unless your feedline run is pretty long, hardline may be over kill on the
lower bands ..... better to spend your hard earned $$$$ some other way.
Also, if you have 2m on the same feedline as 1296, you cannot use 2m to
liaison when trying to make those long haul 1296 contacts. Perhaps
running LMR400 on 2, 222, 432 and hardline with a relay for 902 and up ?

On the other hand, if you have a cousin who works for Andrews, run hardline
to everything !
