Dave, N0KP, thanks for putting up the 10GHz beacon.

I decided to take a listen for it this evening. With my "mobile" rig
sitting indoors on a table and looking out the west facing kitchen window,
the beacon is peaking S9+ on the FT-817's meter. That is facing due west
and elevated about 15 to 20 degrees. With the horn just sitting
horizontally, the beacon is only S8! Signal strength doesn't change much
whether the window is open or closed.

SO, station lineup is as follows:-

early rev demi transverter
21dB horn

signal strength drops from S8 to S1 switching to vertical polarisation.

My location is at EN34jv36.
