Hey, I know, its HF, but its still fun. I also mixed in some microwave
stuff.

On Saturday morning I arrived in EN15xb at about 7:45 am in an attempt to
work Mike on 24 GHz. It was about 3 degrees with a 10 to 12 mph breeze ....
coolish but not unbearable. We found each other on 10 GHz then spent the
next 45 minutes or so trying on 24 GHz with no luck on either end. The path
was about 136 miles. After this, I played HF mobile in the MnQP. Here are
the my results in the order of counties that I traveled to ... all contacts
were on CW.

20m 40m 80m Total
BIG 13 37 0 50
SWI 13 26 0 39
CHP 13 29 0 42
LAC 10 34 0 44
YEL 14 47 0 61
LIN 11 46 0 57
PIP 12 40 0 52
MUR 12 40 0 52
LYO 7 33 0 38
RDW 0 38 0 38
COT 0 10 35 45

Total 105 380 35 520

24 Counties worked, 36 States/Province worked, 1 DX worked, for 60
multipliers

Final score : 520 x 2 x 60 = 63,440 pts. Club = Northern Lights Radio
Society

The pile-ups were awesome.

While in Pipestone county, I set up the 10 and 24 GHz stuff from the far
southern end of EN14 and EN24 and easily worked KM0T on SSB over a 66 mile path.
Both grids were new for my 24 GHz reverse VUCC.

All in all a fun day of radio.
