Hi Guys,

With all the activities that summer brings,,,

I did manage to operate about 50% of the UHF test. I had my usual
bands, 222 to 1296. Could not get the 2.3 ant up in time.

I was in and out all day and evening on Saturday, and some of Sunday
morning. I did have to break at 8 am to 1030 am because of storms and
lightning.

What a shame, as I had just gotten back on the radio, and discovered
that it was open to the south.

Conditions to the west were cruddy, and good to the east and southeast.
I did no CQing, just answering other callers. I heard only W0GHZ on
432.15 setting up with bruce, W9FZ, but could not get his attention.
Did work N9TTX, and tried to work KB9TLV a couple times when I heard
him, but no luck. Otherwise I heard nothing out of the west or north
west. Easily worked WA8RJF with good sigs, on all bands.

Because of my partial schedule, I missed several easy grids, nearby like
en74 and en54. I ran high power, but only on 432, otherwise had 100 w
on 222 and 10 w on 903 and 1.2, with single yagis on all bands.

Breakdown is

222 41Qs 123pts 20grids

432 57 171 22

903 11 66 11

1.2 20 120 12

Tot 480 65 31,200 pts.

On to 10 gig, with plans for some lake Michigan work, and the September
QSO party.

More later.

BTW, the CSVHFS conference was AWESOME!!
