Subject: [NLRS] Question of Wisc guys
There is supposedly
*********
Not "supposedly..." its there... I've operated from there in the past.
*********
a spot to operate from in EN45aa, near Boyceville, at
45d 1' 37" by 91d 59' 32" . It looks to be off of a road that heads
sort of NNE off of Cty Rd (?) 79.
*********
WI 79 950th Ave (Used to be called "Jones Road," I think... leads to 330th St, which is what Jon's asking about.
*********
The spot is SE of Boyceville about
2.5 miles. Question: Does anyone know if this "spot" has a usable
horizon at 240 degrees ? I'm in search of a spot in EN45 that has a shot
at 240 (+/- a few degrees). It doesn't have to be on a hill, it just
needs a clean horizon at 240 degrees.
*********
MAYBE 1 to 1-1/2 miles before hills "block" the path. Trees may have grown up, too. It will require actual scouting. (Can't beat eyes on the ground.) Mike's bearing is 238° T from there....
