Well,
The bands were not too bad tonight. Ran with KF0Q as mentioned before on
5.7 and 10 GHz, also ran with Dave - N0KP on the high bands...no problem.
Humidity is being predicted to be blowing in here from the south and south
east all day tommorow, should keep the level up a bit. If the wind dies
down at night, late night action on the bands could be very good as long as
we dont get storms to stir it all up. My guess is Sunday morning will be ok
as well.
For those of you chasing on 24 GHz, I worked Gene - N0DQS with no issues
here - 70% RH...559 CW and 51 Q5 copy on SSB at about 75 miles. His
frequency for his "100" is around 030 to 035 in real frequency, thats were I
found him...FYI to W0ZQ - Come to mention it, Jon what was your "100" again?
I got to write that down some time :)
Worked John - K9JK/M out in western EN13/EN14 as he was looking for his
starting place - 2M, 222, 432 and 1296. Signals on 1296 were not too bad.
Nice to catch a new voice in the area!
CUL and 73
