Hi Chris.   For staying in real close,  there is the EN34/35 grid line just 
north of Downtown on I-35 ... immediately  north of the Honeywell Plant on 
Stinson Blvd.   If your feeling more  adventuresome, there is a nice spot in 
EN35ad at 45d 08.904'  93d 57.003'  that is just WSW of Buffalo Lake at 1034' ... 
you can hear the 10gig beacon from  there.   Then there is Buck Hill for EN34 
as well as the Scott Cty  Tower site just south of Dave, N0KP.

The Beaford grid corner is pretty  flat.   Areas south of the grid corner by 
several miles (in EN23/33)  have some nicer long flat take-offs.
