Well, I got on the sprint last night, conditions were pretty poor, made one
QSO with Jim K0KFC in EN35. And I heard Duane, N9DG in EN53. However, I
was experiencing a rotor meltdown...dont know whats up, but its messed up
and would not reliably rotote, and would get stuck, etc...I was not able to
change heading much of the time. Got mad and shut down...If I have to take
it down/out to fix, its a major project for sure...might need help as I will
need to take the total mast out with all the ants at one time. That will
take a few bodies for sure and wont be very much fun. Otherwise it will be
taking each antenna off the mast along with feedlines before I can remove
the mast by myself. Its a 20' cromaly mast...very heavy stuff, the mast is
over 125 pounds itself. This of course would be with the tower laid on its
side.

Just one more thing on the list to work on....its stuck at 75 degrees
now...June contest now looks like its coming up too quickly!
