[NLRS] CSVHFS 2005 - 2006 States Above: March Results

Hello NLRS land.  Attached below is the most recent update for those NLRS
members playing in this years CSVHFS State Above event.   I need to go back
and look at a few of my rover logs to see if my W0ZQ/R score can be
improved !   Some nice scores are already evident and we still have four of
the biggest months yet to play.   With March now behind us, the E season
can't be far away and although we are either at, or near the bottom of, the
solar cycle the spring solstice can offer us an increased chance for AU.
Also, watch for some short lived tropo on the back side of severe weather.
Several years ago I worked into Texas on 2m on one such short lived
opening.

This year marks the tenth running of the CSVHF Society States Above
operating event.    The event runs from July 1, 2005 to June 30, 2006.
The objective is to work as many States and Provinces as possible on the
bands above 50 MHz, QSL cards are not required.  The primary purpose of
this fun operating event is to promote interest and activity on the VHF/UHF

All NLRS members are invited to participate ..... work at least 30
States/Provinces and you will receive a very nice certificate from the
CSVHF society.   If you place in the top three, and if you are a CSVHFS
member, you are eligible for a plaque.
