Activity was on the light side but consistent...I logged my last contact at
2123 and was home a little after 2130.
My totals:
Grid Qs Gs
EN51 12 7
EN61 11 8
EN52 11 7
EN62 7 6
Total 41 28 = 1148...I think that's my best on 144 MHz.
Mostly worked adjoining grids and worked several of them from ALL 4 of my
stops (K2DRH in EN41, N9DG in EN53 and K8EB in EN73). One notable 'skip over
more than 1 grid' contact was with W8MIL in EN74 from EN61. Also worked
several stations from 2 and 3 stops (N9AKR, WO9S, N9TZL, N9NDP, K9DQ).
Managed to trade a couple with Gary, N9GH, who was out there as NA9US/R
using his rover equipment and then caught him later as N9GH from his home
station. On the 'down' side, there was one case where I didn't work the Grid
I was in (EN62, though thanks to Dave and Harv, I *did* work it from other
Grids) and two cases where I only worked ONE station in the Grid I was in.
Thanks to all who were out there and to the SVHFS for their sponsorship of
the Fall Sprint series.
Don't forget the 222 MHz Fall Sprint next Tuesday (9/27) and the 432 MHz
Fall Sprint the following Wednesday (10/5), 7pm to 11pm LOCAL time.
73, JK
